Accessibility statement

Who this statement covers

Crewstack is provided by CC TECH. We work to make both our websites and the platform itself usable by everyone, whether they use a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. The target is WCAG 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by the EU accessibility directive (EN 301 549).

The statement covers three things:

• crewstack.io, our website in Danish, English and German.
• heap360.com, our former website, which now redirects every visitor to crewstack.io.
• The Crewstack platform in the parts the crew and guests use: sign in, registration, team selection, confirmation, the crew portal with shifts, pass, news and messages, and the crew member's own profile.

The administration side used by the organizer's staff is not covered by this statement, but follows the same guidelines where possible.

Status

Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The website meets the requirements we have been able to check. The platform has three known limitations, described below, which we are working to close.

The website crewstack.io

The website is built with plain HTML and little scripting, and we have done the following to make it accessible:

• The language is declared on every page, each page has one level 1 heading and a logical heading order.
• A "Skip to content" link, landmarks for navigation, content and footer, and a visible focus indicator on every link, button and field.
• Text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 against its background, and buttons and links are recognizable without colour alone.
• Every image has descriptive alternative text. Screenshots from the system are described in the text next to them.
• Videos are silent screen recordings. They only play when visible and can be paused. Their content is described in the caption.
• Forms have visible labels, and errors are shown as text.
• Tables use proper header cells, and on small screens they stack so they can be read without horizontal scrolling.
• Animations are disabled when the system is set to reduced motion.
• Pages work at 200 percent zoom and down to 320 pixels wide.

We check the pages with an HTML validator and an automatic overflow test on mobile every time we change them, and with a keyboard and a screen reader for larger changes.

The Crewstack platform

The platform was reviewed against WCAG 2.1 AA in 2026. A number of issues have been fixed: language on every page, a skip-to-content link, landmarks and headings, page titles, alternative text on logos and language selection, correct naming of team selection, error messages that are announced and do not disappear on their own, shift status that is not shown by colour alone, dialogs that can be closed with the keyboard, and contrast in the default colours. Automated tests run on the crew-facing pages on every change to the system.

Known limitations

• Choosing shifts with a keyboard. The page where crew members choose shifts cannot yet be fully operated with a keyboard alone, and some buttons lack names for screen readers. Crew members who cannot use the page can have shifts assigned by their team lead or the administrator. A new version of the page is in progress.
• The organizer's own colours. Organizers can choose their own primary colour for the portal. We are introducing a check that the colour has sufficient contrast, but colours chosen before that check may give low contrast on buttons and links until the organizer updates them.
• List markup. A few lists on portal pages use markup that screen readers do not read entirely correctly. The content is accessible, but the structure is not perfect.

Content written by organizers

News, FAQ, messages and the public pages in the portal are written by each organizer. Their accessibility depends on how the organizer writes them, for example whether images get alternative text. We guide organizers on this and are working to make it easier in the editing tools.

If you come across something you cannot use, write to [email protected] with the subject "Accessibility". Please describe which page it concerns and which assistive technology you use. We normally reply within one working day and tell you what we will do about it. If you need the content in another form, we will help with that.

If you use Crewstack as a crew member at a festival, you can also contact the festival's crew coordinator, who can help with shifts, pass and information.

Enforcement

If you do not receive a satisfactory answer from us, you can contact the authority that supervises the Danish act on accessibility requirements for products and services, the Danish Safety Technology Authority (Sikkerhedsstyrelsen).
